WENTZ: 'I COULD HAVE BEEN A SOCCER STAR'
Date: Apr. 22, 2006 | Category: Music News

Fall Out Boy bassist PETE WENTZ has no idea why he has shot to stardom as a rocker - as he is much better at soccer than music.

The DANCE, DANCE star finds scoring goals far easier than knocking out tunes.

He says, "Everyone is put on the planet to do just one thing. If I was put here to do one thing, it was probably to play soccer.

"Music is more of a challenge to me, and that's what I find attractive about it. Music doesn't come easily to me at all.

"I'm still light years better at soccer than I am at music."
