PUSSYCAT DOLL Jessica Sutta is embarking on a solo career, fuelling rumours she's quit the chart-topping girlgroup.

Last month (Dec09), founder Robin Antin revealed the band was embarking on a hiatus, adding that several of the singers would not be returning when the band reteams later in 2010.

Antin confirmed she would "bring in new faces" to replace those who left - and Sutta has hinted she'll be one of the outgoing Dolls, after announcing she's starting work on an album of solo material.

The singer tells Starpulse.com, "This year is going to be really busy for me because I'm starting my album so I'm not going to have a lot of time.

"I'm writing and I'm working with up and coming producers. It's really nice, 2010 I'm just really looking forward to it. It's a new chapter in my life. It's time."
