PERRY CONSIDERED SCRAPPING HIT TRACK
Date: Sep. 18, 2008 | Category: Music News

KATY PERRY almost scrapped the release of her hit track I KISSED A GIRL - until boyfriend Travis McCoy made the singer change her mind.

The charttopper was reluctant to release the track because its homosexual content went against her parents religious beliefs.

But McCoy predicted it would be a smash hit.

He says, "As soon as Katy played I Kissed A Girl I said, 'Baby, this is a smash'.

"I totally knew from the word go, but she wasn't sure. She was like, 'Do you really think so?' I proved it to her."
