KILLING JOKE BASSIST RAVEN DIES

KILLING JOKE bassist PAUL RAVEN has been found dead in Switzerland. He was 46.
The musician was in Geneva working with French industrial band Treponem Pal when he died unexpectedly on Saturday (20Oct07).
Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman and guitarist Geordie Walker said in a statement, ''We are all deeply stricken with grief at the unannounced departure of possibly the funniest man on planet earth and a brother to us all. Paul Vincent Raven unimaginable sadness is felt by all."
Killing Joke has often been cited as an influence on bands such as Nirvana and Green Day.
