Superstars JAY-Z and BEYONCE KNOWLES have topped a new poll as Hollywood's richest couple - with combined earnings for 2008 of $162 million (GBP109 million).

The Crazy In Love stars, who wed in April (08), have amassed a fortune in the year from 1 June 2007 to 2008.

Rapper Jay-Z earned $82 million (GBP55.4 million) from his recent $150 million (GBP101 million) 10-year deal with concert promoter Live Nation, while wife Knowles has brought in $80 million (GBP54 million) from her various ventures in fashion, film and music.

Their 2008 fortune sets them far apart from Hollywood's other power couples - Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are in second place in the Forbes magazine poll with $85 million (GBP57 million), while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie could only manage fifth place with $34 million (GBP22.9 million).

The top 10 of Hollywood's Top Earning Couples is as follows:
