SUGABABE singer KEISHA BUCHANAN was so depressed as a teenager she thought about killing herself.

Buchanan admits she was desperate for friends and acceptance from her peers.

She says, "I was very depressed and there were moments when I'd think: 'If I just put this pillow over my head, what would happen?' I wondered why my friends suddenly didn't want to hang out with me."

Buchanan adds, "But nowadays I don't care if I have just three good friends. I don't need a hundred mates."
