Pop star CRAIG DAVID struggles to meet suitable women in nightclubs, because partygoers fail to meet his criteria for a prospective girlfriend.

The 7 DAYS singer, 24, has romanced models ROXY INGRAM and Aida Yespica - but he finds the false environments in celebrity nightspots only attract shallow ladies.

He says, "It's hand to find substantial girls in a club, it's all about eye-Candy. With the lighting so dim you have to paint your numbers a bit, and drinks don't help either.

"And you end having to shout over the music. Clubs are the worst places to meet girls."

David is far more interesting in women who offer him a challenge, "I like a girl who stands on her own and isn't easy, like, 'Oh, your music's great.'

"I want someone who makes it hard, who's a challenge and keeps me on my toes, but not too much or else it gets too long."
