Hip-hop star 50 Cent wants to put his violent past behind him and promote healthy living by launching his own brand of vitamin pills.

The IN DA CLUB rapper already made inroads into the health food market with his branded vitamin water drink FORMULA 50 - and his latest venture is a reflection of his active lifestyle.

The 29-year-old tells American magazine BLENDER, "I didn't wanna support an alcoholic beverage. Energy drinks will have you bouncing off the wall.

"I didn't wanna involve myself with a project that doesn't reflect my lifestyle. I stay active. Don't be surprised if I put out a multivitamin..."
