Jewellers Chopard lit up the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday night (21May09) by raining millions of dollars worth of gems on stars like Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, EVA HERZIGOVA, Claudia Schiffer and Michelle Yeoh.

The sparkling women stepped out in loaned diamonds, gold and rubies for the annual American Foundation for Aids Research benefit.

French actress Cotillard picked Chopard’s exquisite diamond sautoir and a diamond bracelet for her night out, while Chopard ambassador Herzigova wore a magnificent ring in rose gold, set with a Burma ruby, and rose gold-hoop earrings composed of 122 Pink-brown Asscher-cut diamonds.

Schiffer opted for a stunning two-row platinum necklace, consisting of 59 fancy-cut diamonds, and former Bond girl Yeoh chose to wear diamond chandelier earrings.
