British movie hunk ROB PATTINSON has topped a new list of breakout stars, beating out competition from comic Russell Brand and Disney darling DEMI LOVATO.
The Twilight star has landed atop the annual Entertainment Weekly 10 Breakout Stars of 2008 list.
Also making the new list: Estelle, American Idol winner David Cook and Angel, the four-year-old dog star of Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
