

Scandinavian drama ORIGINAL has been named Best Picture at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
Danish-Swedish director duo, Antonio Tublen and Alexander Brondsted, were handed the coveted Golden Goblet award at China's premiere movie event on Sunday (21Jun09) by a panel of experts including Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle.
Jury president Boyle called the film "a light, touching and subversive study of mental illness that is both compassionate and never sentimental."
The movie's star Sverrir Gudnason was also named best actor for playing the son of a mentally ill woman.
Hollywood actress Andie MacDowell presented Danish star Simone Tang with the Best Actress accolade for her portrayal of a high school student in Aching Hearts.
Julius Sevcik was named Best Director for Czech thriller Normal, the study of a serial killer in the 1930s.
Chinese film The Search, which is set in Tibet, received the Jury Grand Prix and another domestic entry Empire of Silver was honoured with the Jury Award.
Music legend Quincy Jones was handed the lifetime achievement award alongside veteran French actress Isabelle Huppert.
