Russell Crowe will make his movie directorial debut with a fact-based surfing drama, called BRA BOYS.

The film focuses on the three brothers who founded Australia's underground surfing movement in the Sydney suburbs.

Crowe, who also narrated a documentary about the ABBERTON brothers, will team up with top producer and surfing fan BRIAN GRAZER to make the project.
