BRIDGES REGRETS BANNING DAUGHTERS FROM FAME

Actor Jeff Bridges regrets banning his daughters from entering the world of showbiz.

THE BIG LEBOWSKI star had a famous father, LLOYD BRIDGES, and well-known godparents, LARRY PARKS and Betty Garrett.

Bridges admits he never had any problems landing acting roles, although he has different wishes for his own offspring.

He says, "I'm a product of nepotism. The doors were open to me. There was a certain amount of guilt and worry about whether I really had what it takes. I thought I'd spare my girls that.

"But now I'm saying to them: 'While you're considering lines of work, you might want to consider showbiz.' But I think the ship may have sailed on that one."
