Ratings were lower than usual last night for the 59^th Annual Creative Emmy Awards and the general consensus seems to be that the show was on the dull side (so no, Britney did not make an appearance) short of a few highlights. The best moment of the night was definitely Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert handing off Ricky Gervais' trophy to Steve Carell and then celebrating in a burst of man-hugs and high fives.
